The Ocean hub ODATIS, in collaboration with the National Biodiversity Data Hub (PNDB) and GBIF France, is offering a training course on the Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT), which enables publication of occurrence data on the international GBIF portal and on OBIS. IPT is a free and open-source software package developed and maintained by GBIF for hosting, standardizing and disseminating biodiversity data.

Organizers: Data Terra’s Ocean (ODATIS) and Biodiversity (PNDB) hubs, and GBIF France.

Dates: from Wednesday 25 June (from 09:00) to Thursday 26 June 2025 (until 17:00)

Location: in-person at Sorbonne University: Tour Zamansky, room 2402, 4 place Jussieu, 75005 Paris. A hybrid/online option is not planned due to the hands-on nature of the training.

Audience: Open to all producers and managers of marine occurrence data. Registration is free but mandatory (register here). Places are limited to 20 participants.
